L’Étape Mondovì by Tour de France will take place from 18 to 20 September 2026 and is an event designed for everyone: cycling enthusiasts, cycle tourists and families, united by the desire to experience great cycling in a festive atmosphere.

Registrations close the day before the cycling competition (19 September 2026).
L’Étape Mondovì will take place in the city of Mondovì, in the heart of Piedmont, an area ideal for cycling thanks to its rolling landscapes, scenic climbs, and rich local food and wine tradition.
Granfondo: 110.5 km and 2,271 m elevation gain
Cycle tour: 60.35 km and 1,104 m elevation gain
In the village, you will find everything organised for you to enjoy a totally relaxing and fun experience: food areas, stands and information points, secure bike park.
The showers are located at the Palazzetto Palaitis in Via di Curazza, 15 – Mondovì.

The start of L’Étape Mondovì will be in the center of Mondovì, in Piazza Ellero, while the finish will take place in Mondovì Piazza.
You can collect your race pack:
– Saturday 30th from 8am to 7pm
– Sunday 31st from 7am to 8:30am.
Yes, when you register, you choose between the Cycle Tour and the Granfondo. During the event, those registered for the Cicloturistica will only take part in that route, while those registered for the Granfondo will participate in the competitive race.
It is mandatory to display the race number in a visible and unaltered manner, both on the bicycle and on the back. The number must not be rolled up. Competitors with numbers that are not clearly visible will be disqualified.
The starting grid is assigned based on the type of services purchased.
– VIP grid: located at the front, immediately below the starting arch.
– First grid: immediately following the VIP grid.
– ‘French-style’ grid: for everyone else, access is based on arrival time at the grid. The earlier you arrive, the further forward you start.
The rankings will be available online on the ENDU website after the event.
All athletes who cross the finish line will be awarded the official medal.
Polka dot jersey: awarded to the athlete who completes the uphill sections in the shortest time.
Green jersey: awarded to the fastest athlete in the timed flat sections.
Yellow jersey: awarded to the athletes who cross the finish line first.
White jersey: awarded to athletes under 25 who cross the finish line first (overall men’s and women’s competition).
For Granfondo/Mediofondo participants, the Pasta Party is included in the registration fee. Accompanying persons can participate by purchasing a Pasta Party ticket at the Expo Village at a special price.
To participate in the Granfondo/Mediofondo, you need a competitive medical certificate stating ‘cycling’. For the Cicloturistica, a non-competitive medical certificate is sufficient.
L’Étape Mondovì is much more than a race: it is a real event dedicated to music, culture and conviviality. During the weekend, there are numerous side events open to everyone, designed to involve participants, accompanying persons and the public:
– Expo Area, the beating heart of the village
– Music Run on Friday evening, to start the weekend with rhythm and smiles
– Notte Gialla concert on Saturday evening, to experience Mondovì through music and a special atmosphere.
The cost of the cycling tour is €25, including a race pack and pasta party.
Yes, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, up to the age of 18.
Yes, you can participate in both the Granfondo/Mediofondo and Cicloturistica with an e-bike. Those who use electric bikes:
– are not included in the overall ranking
– receive a different coloured race number
