The city is located in a privileged geographical position, between mountains, hills and plains. It is no coincidence that Mondovì is known as the “flying city”: every January, the sky is filled with hot air balloons during the famous International Balloon Rally, a symbolic event that has established it as the Italian home of ballooning.
